First-generation Camaros have always been popular. Because of their popularity, the ‘60s Camaros maintain a higher-than-usual price tag even for the not so nice specimens. With just bodies going for upwards of $10k half the time, you’re better off buying a fully restored, complete first-gen. If you’ve been looking for a ‘60s Camaro but just haven’t found the right one yet, a recent addition to eBay may just fit your fancy.
Offered by Atlas Muscle Cars is a first-year Camaro convertible. The car is equipped with a 350cui engine with roller tipped rockers, ceramic coated headers and a four-barrel carburetor. The engine is matted to a 4-speed manual transmission. The car also comes with a 10-bolt Posi-traction rear end with 3.73 gears, power drum brakes and a dual exhaust. While the Camaro hasn’t undergone a crazy build, it is a solid ‘67 with enough oomph to let you know you’re driving a muscle car.
The Camaro’s body is straight and rust free, and finished off in a yellow and black color scheme. Although the paint is older, it doesn’t have any scratches or bubbling present, indicating that the car has been very well cared for. The interior is standard black to match the black exterior stripes and convertible top.
If you’re looking for a solid first-generation Camaro that runs and looks as if it were still in the ‘60s, this may be the car for you. This car is clean, looks amazing and promises to drive as good as it looks.
If you’re interested in owning a Camaro that has been kept true to its original muscle car status, this ‘67 will be available on eBay through October 13th for $24,900. Although the price is a bit high, imagine how much time and money would go into creating a first-generation Camaro as nice as this one.
