The ’69 Camaro RS/SS is the custom creation of J&E Pro Streets, LLC in Massillon, Ohio. It features a round tube, double frame rail m/s chassis with a fiberglass hood and deck that bolt onto a factory steel body.
The engine looming over the engine bay is an all aluminum 557cui big block built by Rusty Vaughn. Included in this powerhouse is an LA billet crank, diamond forged 9.0:1 pistons, Jesel Pro Series shaft rockers, twin 1295 Boost Referenced King Demon blower carburetors, a BDS Stage III Supercharger, Indy blower manifold with a custom NOS Pro Shot nitrous fogger system with dual 10lb nitrous bottles, and a Garlits Birdcatcher injector scoop. The engine is matted to a Pro Glide Straight Cut transmission with a TCI 9-inch Pro X torque converter, Ultrabell case and pro brake. The rear end features a custom clutch driveshaft and a custom 9-inch housing with 4.30 gears.
Set up for the track by Racetech, the Camaro sports Sportsman 4 Link anti-roll wheelie bars and a launcher chute. Not to be over looked is the pristine interior that maintains the factory dash and door panels, as well as the factory console with gauges. The whole package sits atop Weld Pro Magnum Wheels and Hoosier Quick Time Pro D.O.T. street tires.
While the video doesn’t really show the Camaro in action, just revving behind a shop, it gives you a good idea about what kind of power the car packs. Check out the video below. Make sure to turn up those speakers when the Camaro is really got on about 2 minutes in.
