The upcoming Mecum Sale in Kissimmee, Florida is set to feature twelve very special Corvettes from the extensive personal collection of Corvette aficionado Chuck Ungurean. Ungurean’s collecting philosophy has always been about acquiring the very best examples of Corvettes, be they genuine survivors or fully restored. A 1953 Corvette bearing VIN number 153, a pair of slick 1967 L71’s, and a rare 1972 ZR-1 coupe are among the Ungurean cars that are set to cross the block in Kissimmee.
The auction is scheduled for January 24-29, 2012 at the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, and the 6-day event will feature more than 2,000 different cars, motorcycles, and boats for sale in addition to Ungurean’s Vettes. Check out Corvette Blogger’s original report for more info on some of these great Corvettes.
