When you think of sports cars of the ‘80s, you probably don’t think of the Camaro as one of them. For F-body fans, however, one ’80s Camaro will always have a place in our hearts and a recent addition to the automotive classifieds site Mautofied.com is proving why. Respect the IROC-Z? Then you won’t be disappointed in this car.

The ’88 IROC-Z up for sale is definitely not your average third-generation Camaro; it’s downright gorgeous. In addition to the 350ci. small-block under the hood, the IROC sports a Hypertech dual fan switch including a 180 degree thermostat for cooler temps, and dual Dynomax Ultra-Flow exhaust with high-flow catalytic converters. The IROC was also recently equipped with a new alternator, water pump, serpentine belt, and hoses. This with just 67,000 miles on the car.

Making this Camaro stand out above the rest is a Goodmark steel cowl hood, Z28 red bowtie front grill and American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels. To make the interior pop as much as the exterior, a B&M Mega Shifter for the automatic transmission was used, as well as an APC Billet Aluminum steering wheel. The car was also fitted with a Pioneer stereo and Boston Acoustic speakers.

While the information about the car states that the IROC has received regular maintenance in its life, including the use of fully synthetic Mobile 1 oil, it’s obvious to see that the IROC has been taken care of from the included picture alone. Finished in crisp black paint with newly redone IROC striping and badges, this is definitely the nicest third-gen we’ve seen in some time.

The asking price for the Camaro is $9,500- a fair price considering how well the car has been maintained. The next owner will definitely be getting a sick IROC-Z he can be proud of and enjoy right away. To contact the seller about this amazing car, check out the ad on Mautofied.com.
