We’re all itching to get back on the track. That’s why we’re pleased to announce that the Pacific Street Car Association has just released their 2012 racing schedule. Packed full of events this year in both Las Vegas, Nevada and Fontana, California, we can’t wait for the kick-off coming up next month.

The Pacific Street Car Association (PSCA) presented by Chris Alston’s Chassisworks is based out of Las Vegas, Nevada and has been a staple among west coast drag races for going on 13 seasons.

The association prides itself on creating a fun atmosphere for both racers and spectators through seven heads-up classes, three index classes and four bracket classes at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Auto Club Dragway, Fontana, California races. Most notably is the headlining Pro Street class that pits low six-second doorslammers against the pavement for races reaching upwards of 245mph.

The PSCA’s 2012 race season plans to be hotter than ever with eight races leading up to the Street Car Super Nationals VIII. The summer time fun kicks off for PSCA at their Hughes Performance “California Nationals” event on May 18th through the 20th in Fontana and continues at the Auto Club Dragway for “Summer Drags” June 22nd through the 24th, and the Lucas Oil “Slick Mist” Drags on September 9th through the 11th.

The PSCA Pro Street Class is host to some of the fastest doorslammer cars in the country like Mike Maggio’s 70.5 Camaro and John Scialpi’s ‘57 Bel Air

The PSCA season will kick off in just over a month in Las Vegas for the Ford Racing “Record Breaking Nationals” the weekend of February 17th. PSCA racing will then move to Fontana, California for the Mickey Thompson Tires Spring Break Super Show running from March 9th to the 11th, and then back to Las Vegas for the “Las Vegas Nationals” April 27th through the 29th.

PSCA will head back to Las Vegas to kick off their first fall event, the Magna Fuel “West Coast Nationals” from October 5th through the 7th. Then Fontana will see the last PSCA race before the Super Nationals at the Edelbrock World Finals running from November 2nd through the 4th.

Going into its eighth year, the Street Car Super Nationals in Las Vegas will take place November 15th through the 18th and be crammed full of fierce competition. It looks like it’s going to be one exciting year for PSCA racing. We can’t wait for the 2012 season to kick off next month and look forward to seeing what this year’s races bring!
