Founded in 1983, the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association is one of the largest active groups catering to gearheads in the world. With over 70,000 members worldwide, Goodguys is known best for its coveted annual awards, and the incredible car shows they put together. With an ever growing schedule of Goodguys shows, no one should feel left out.

Jet Hot Coatings was on hand at the recently Columbus, Ohio Goodguys show, and they have an awesome photo gallery from the autocross session where a number of Jet Hot equipped cars were tearing up the track.

For those that don’t know, Jet Hot Coatings offers special heat-resistent coatings for a variety of vehicle parts, from headers to pistons and just about everything in between. These coatings can reduce friction and heat, thereby improving both performance and horsepower. In events like autocross, which has become increasingly popular at Goodguys shows, these coatings can give racers a competitive edge.

Twenty years ago, you would be hard pressed to find a muscle car show with an autocross track. Nowadays, you can’t have a great show without one. Jet Hot’s photo gallery shows the diversity of the autocrossers, from big boats and literal muscle cars (including a big Oldsmobile) to less traditional rides like a Chevy C10 pickup.

Make sure you check out the whole gallery, and the Goodguys schedule as well. What’s your excuse for not going?
