What’s slammed to the ground, patinaed and one sick Chevy? The 1956 Chevy pickup named Oil Slick of course! Check it out in the Hot Rod Dirty’s Photography video above!
We get to see some pretty cool rides on a daily basis in this industry, but we’re never failed to be impressed by a sick patinaed and slammed hot rod, especially one that’s as much of a driver as it is a show piece. Oil Slick is just that!
Built atop a Nova subframe and featuring a Nova rearend, Oil Slick is one sick truck. Under the hood, you’ll find a genuine 350ci V8 engine, giving the pickup more of a muscle car feel rather than that of a lumber hauler. Backing that V8 is an automatic transmission for easy cruising, no matter what the road ahead has in store.
With all new wiring, new glass, power steering and power brakes, there’s nothing “clunker” about this awesome truck. Even the patinaed finish has a bit more pizzazz than usual with a metalflake roof and unique pinstriping details. Of course, we can’t forget about the new whitewalls that plant this stanced ride to the pavement.
Inside, the truck features a classically styled interior, which includes a freshly upholstered bench seat, metalflake dash and door panels, and the mandatory bus-size steering wheel.
Oil Slick is one beautiful truck and is currently up for grabs through Traditional Hot Rod Motors. If you’re interested in finding out more information or purchasing this unique truck, be sure to contact Traditional Hot Rod Motors directly through their website.
