Named The Dart Fader, this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS is an untamed beast. Built by Pedal To The Metal musclecar performance, this ’69 Camaro is the true show stopper.
Powered by a gargantuan 572ci Big-Block V8, a Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission helps put a massive 785hp down to the wheels. Completely rebuilt from the ground up, this Camaro features all new doors, floors, fenders, quarters, and front frame.
Painted matte black, The Dart Fader gives off the appearance of a sleeper. The single orange stripe is a good choice in offsetting this Camaro from the rest.
We like the simple design aesthetics this Camaro has. There aren’t any chrome bumpers or trim; just a beast lurking in the darkness.
What’s more, the matte paint they used on The Dart Fader is washable. The chrome accessories on the car were coated with a semi-satin black paint to help give visual continuity.
Pedal To The Metal put their heart and soul into building The Dart Fader. From the unique rear axle with ladder bars to the new front sub frame with coil over suspension, this Camaro even looks stock in the interior.
It would honestly be hard to tell what is going on with this Camaro unless you asked for a closer look. Pedal To The Metal’s goal with The Dart Fader was to make a Camaro that is fast, clean, and mean.
They sure accomplished that, building a sleeper that muscle car enthusiasts should fear. What are your thoughts on The Dart Fader? Feel free to comment below.
