Video: Garage Burnout With a C4 ‘Vette

Winter seems to drag on forever and for those without a racing snowmobile, the cold, snowy and/or rainy months can seem endless. A creative fellow in Washington decided to have a bit of fun with a Corvette inside his garage and had the great idea to record his antics. CorvetteBlogger found this little gem on YouTube and it seems to be proof that boredom does lead to creativity or a least a garage full of smoke.

Typically, when you read something along the lines of these automotive hijinks, you expect to witness evidence of Darwinism in action, or at the very least destruction of a car. Clad in his satin Corvette jacket with The Donald hairstyle, this guy manages to avoid destruction of both his car and his garage.

He opens the video with a shot of the car inside the garage, and then heads outside on an eerily wordless POV tour of his driveway to illustrate the winter climate of the Pacific Northwest (a seemingly never-ending rainstorm that starts in November and does not end till spring). After demonstrating the damp weather conditions, the owner heads back inside his garage to lower his garage door in preparation for the burnout; he seems to have experience with adjusting the garage door for this sort of behavior, because he fiddles with the opener until it reaches just the right height.

Once inside the Greenwood C4 the guy makes the first attempt to smoke the tires and the car proceeds to slide toward the front wall of the garage. A few seconds later he adjusts the position of the car and pulls off a feat of senseless tire destruction. Regardless of how crazy this fellow may seem, winter weather can cause car guys to go a little nuts.  At least the car survived without body damage and it looks like this guy will be able to perform more garage burnouts in the future.
