Rattling with fear, feast your eyes on this cherry 1972 Chevy Nova. Posted on Jamboolio’s YouTube channel, they have discovered a beast of a Nova.
Located at Helsinki Cruising Nights 2014 in Helsinki, Finland, this Nova’s vibrant orange paint howls for attention. But it isn’t only the paint and the deep-dish rally-style wheels that are tucked underneath the body that give it its aura.
It’s what’s breathing underneath that huge, striped cowl-induction hood. A Chevy small-block 408ci 6.7L V8 starts up without problems and idles with pure aggression.
Built with forged pisons, steel rods and crankshaft, the Nova’s engine is cleanly rebuilt. Other features include an aluminum air gap intake, water pump, radiator and pulleys.
A full roller valvetrain is also installed, giving this Nova the strength it needs to perform well whenever the situation calls.
Furthermore, the Nova is fitted with a BLP 850cfm carburator, MSD ignition system, a 700R4 automatic transmission and disc brakes. The rally-style wheels are wrapped with 235/40R18 in the front and 255/35R20 tires in the rear.
Featuring simple aesthetics but plenty of modifications under the hood, this Nova is a sleeper ready to ambush at any given time. Its exhaust system gives off a destructive rumble that shouts power and authority.
Whether this beast is tame or not, this Nova in Finland would surely turn heads in the United States. Hats off to Finland for the clean, custom build!
