Street Feature: Something Special For Our Seattle Readers

1200-8 [1]

We know all about the Twelfth Man and the passion that a Seattle Seahawk fan has for their team. Sometimes, two passions meet in the middle and you end up with a really cool car that expresses some serious team spirit!

Whether you like the Hawks or not, this is a well-built truck!

This 1978 Chevy [6] Pickup belongs to Matt Stuart of Seabeck, Washington. Just a pond-hop from Seattle, Matt, like everyone else in the area, loves his Hawks. Unlike everyone else in the area though, Matt has a badass 383 cubic-inch stroker engine powering his pickup that expresses his team spirit.

1200-20 [7]

Matt bought the truck painted like this, but he has redone everything mechanically, bumper to bumper. Along with the stroker engine, the truck also features a 3.56:1 geared positraction rearend, a T35 transmission, Holley [8] 700cfm carburetor, electric exhaust cutouts, MSD [9] ignition, and some serious air horns.

Take a look at those exhaust cutouts!

Mamma Sherman, the mother of one of the teams most famous players, Richard Sherman, has actually signed the truck for Matt, and he is hoping that he can get more team members to sign it. This is a really cool tribute to the team and we think that if he is rolling around the pacific northwest in this beast, the least the team can do is drop him a line and let him know they appreciate his support.

1200-14 [14]

We love Matt’s truck. It’s a little unconventional, but it merges two hobbies together and we love the personality. We know you’ve got a great ride too, so shoot us an email [15] with a couple pictures and a little information and you might just see it here as one of our Street Features [16]. Still a work in progress? No worries, we’d always like to see a project for our What Are You Working On [17] series.
