While most guys would shy away from a rust bucket ’73 Nova, Jeremy from northern California dove right in to revive what could only be considered a basket case. Along with his father and a couple of friends, Jeremy began working in his well equipped garage to turn the dilapidated grocery getter into a dream Pro-Touring machine.
If you’re building a Pro-Touring car, you have to consider using suspension parts from Speedtech Performance – and that is what Jeremy has done. With his crew hard at work on turning the beast into a beauty, the guys at Speedtech have been showing off photos of the work. The crew at Speedtech tell us that if they were to send all of the photos of the sheet metal repair and reconstruction to us, it would bog down our email server.
Aside from rust repair this vintage musclecar is getting, the restomod will include all new Speedtech Suspension. The car will be sporting an LS/T56 drivetrain and sport a full Speedtech pro-touring suspension.
The most recent photos the crew at Speedtech have are of the front suspension install and rear suspension mock up. Front suspension consists of our complete Speedtech Road Assault package including upper and lower control arms, sway bar, and tie rod adjuster sleeves and double adjustable Viking coilover shocks. In the back is Speedtech’s popular Torque Arm rear suspension.
Jeremy and the crew are rolling quick on this build so we’ll keep an eye out and when the build is done, we’ll bring you final photos of the work. Undoubtedly, you haven’t seen the last of this car.
