Speedtech Performance has chosen March as the perfect time to upgrade from a leaf spring suspension to a modern torque arm rear suspension. To help enthusiasts, the Speedtech crew is offering free powder coating on torque arm suspensions during the entire month of March. The St.George, Utah-based company is well known for their pro-touring suspensions with their Camaro and Nova torque arm suspensions as their signature products.
According to the Speedtech crew, the torque arm suspension is an easy-to-install package that offers great handling and a better ride to replace the stock leaf spring rear suspension. Many enthusiasts find the stock leaf spring suspensions difficult to tune and prone to binding under challenging conditions like autocrossing. To help ease the cost of swapping out an old suspension for more modern technology, Speedtech Performance is adding the $350 powder coating for free with the purchase of a torque arm system.
The Speedtech Performance torque arm kits involved in this special are kits that are applicable for the 1967-1981 Camaros, Firebirds, and the X-body kits for 1968-1974 Chevy Nova, Buick Apollo, Oldsmobile Omega, and Pontiac Ventrura.
As any pro-touring enthusiast will attest, the heart of a pro-touring Camaro or Nova is the suspension. The key to a good suspension is one that is responsive and nimble, but comfortable enough to cruise on the street.
The suspension kits offered by Speedtech are easy to install, high quality, and manufactured with made-in-the-USA suspension components that are designed to work together for performance and ride quality.
