To celebrate their 25th anniversary in business Dakota Digital stepped up their involvement with the 2011 Hot Rod Power Tour.
Besides being the official gauge of the Power Tour, Dakota Digital also provided fans with a daily blog from each venue that made up the 2011 power tour schedule.
The Power Tour started in Cape Canaveral, Florida, and seven events later in as many days, finished up in Detroit, Michigan. At every event Dakota Digital was there to document the stop with photos and a recap from all the days festivities.
If you were unable to make it to a stop on the 2011 Power Tour schedule make sure you visit their daily blog to experience each show. You can check out the daily blog by visiting HERE.
Also shown for the first time on the Power Tour was the new Dakota Digital VHX Instrument Systems, a culmination of a digital base with a modern analog output.
Fitting many common hot rods, and many more applications in process. This new style is a great modern addition to nearly any custom car.
The new VHX Systems fit directly into the stock instrument bezel of your particular vehicle without modification, adding a wealth of features into your vehicle. Fully lit needles, backlit faces, and highly visible LCD message centers, are a few of the things that you can expect to see with the VHX Series.
A few of the features which you don’t normally see are the micro-controlled precision stepper motors, solid state sensors for unparalleled accuracy, and user-customizable display feedback, all supported by a limited lifetime warranty which has become the standard for Dakota Digital instrumentation systems.
