The Hot Rod Power Tour is the ultimate road trip for any gearhead and thanks to Royal Purple you could be going to this year’s event June 2^nd through the 9^th.

Through Royal Purple’s High Performance Experience photo contest, the company will be sending one lucky automotive enthusiast to participate in the Power Tour as a guest of the company. Getting registered for this amazing opportunity is simple, but you have to act fast because the contest ends March 16^th.

Going into its 18^th consecutive year, the Hot Rod Power Tour put on by Hot Rod magazine is a seven-day road trip from Detroit, Michigan to Arlington, Texas. Seven days means stops in seven car-crazy cities along the way where participants will enjoy events sponsored by different automotive companies, a cruise and shopping at vendor booths each night. Daylight hours of the Power Tour are spent gathering and cruising to the next location for more fun.

As the guest of Royal Purple, one lucky fan will get to drive their vehicle in the Power Tour and participate in the week’s worth of events. To sweeten the deal, registration fees, VIP parking, and Royal Purple swag (apparel and decals) will be given to the contest winner, in addition to a Royal Purple Visa gift card to help with travel expenses.

To get yourself registered for a chance to be Royal Purple’s guest at the Hot Rod Power Tour, all you have to do is “Like” the company on Facebook and then upload a picture of your American muscle or performance car under the “HRPT” tab of Royal Purple’s Facebook fan page between March 2^nd and the 16^th.

Voting for the best contenders will take place from the 17^th through the 23^rd on Facebook and ten semi-finalists will be chosen based on the results. Royal Purple will then choose one lucky winner out of those finalists to go on the Power Tour after each finalist supplies a detailed list of their vehicle’s specifications and modifications, as well as proof of a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

The lucky winner will be announced on Royal Purple’s Facebook fan page at 1p.m. ET on March 30^th.

One runner-up will also be chosen from the finalists to participate in the Power Tour if the winner can not meet the contest winner requirements. The runner-up will receive a case of Royal Purple Motor Oil and swag from the company.
