For the last couple of weeks, we’ve taken a look at what the guys over at American Modern Insurance Group have gotten themselves into when it comes to their latest project-rebuilding a severely damaged 1966 Malibu. But now that we’ve got a good idea what they’re working with, it’s time to start meeting the crew that will be working on this classic Malibu makeover. Meet a very important part of the team in the video above.

Jayme Lawrence, a Marketing Research Analysis for American Modern’s collector car insurance section, grew up with a love of cars. Having a dad in the hobby helped, with fun cars and motorcycles always in the garage.

After working with American Modern for 17 years, Lawrence is ready to get her hands on her own kind of project and The Build had just what she was looking for.

As someone who grew up with cars, Lawrence tells the host of The Build, Jolynn Johnston, that her reasons for joining in on the build come down to two things.

Not only will it be a fun and exciting experience, learning the mechanics of a car better and about the process of rebuilding a classic, Lawrence can relate to collector car insurance customers better in the future.

While American Modern has a high reputation for their classic car insurance services, Lawrence is taking it one step further, placing herself in the same position that so many enthusiasts have been in- building their own project car. How’s that for excellent customer service?
