L&H Customs Working on Two-Door Pro-Touring Nova Wagon

Here at Chevy Hardcore, we love hearing about impressive builds that Chevy enthusiasts are doing on their cars. Recently, we got news of a ‘67 Nova Wagon that was undergoing a customization from L&H Customs, a sponsor of Pro-Touring.com [2]. While this project is still in its early stages, the custom Nova is intriguing and sure to get tons of attention when it is done.

L&H Customs is transforming a ‘67 four-door Nova Wagon into a two-door wagon. The company expects the Nova Wagon to look similar to a two-door Chevelle Wagon. They plan on using the longer doors from a two-door wagon on their custom Nova and possibly have a sliding rear window like the Chevelle Wagon. L&H Customs initially didn’t know what they were going to do with the placement of the B-pillar but according to a later forum post, think they will lean it forward as well as the rear sliding window divider.

To power this unique Nova, L&H Customs is planning to fit the wagon with an LS1 motor. It will be matted to a 4L65e transmission. The Nova will also make use of a TCI Mustang II front clip.

There is an initial rough drawing of the Nova Wagon on the forum, drawn by Jason Rushforth, as well as a rendering of the wagon that reflects the decision about the B-pillar placement. There are also some photos of the initial body work being done to the wagon. We look forward to following this build and can’t wait to see the finished product.
