Lemons Headers Has Your Custom ’68-’72 Big Block Chevelle Headers

Anyone who has ever installed custom headers on a restoration job, understands how difficult it can be. If the manufacture of the header is off by the least amount it has the potential to come in contact with the steering column, oil pan, starter, chassis, or even the firewall. You can see just how precise you have to be from the picture above. The picture features a set of  big block Chevelle custom headers from Lemons Headers installed on a 1972 Chevelle SS. The gentleman that installed the headers was so impressed by the headers that he decided to give credit where credit was due and sent a testimonial to Lemons Headers:

“Hi Guys, We purchased a set of your headers through SSRE with one of their engines, as they recommended we use yours. I’m extremely happy with the quality and fitment of your product. It’s second to none. I’ve never had a set of custom built headers fit any where near as well as yours do. It makes my job so much easier when I purchase something and it fits right, the first time. That does not happen very often,” Shane Hudson, World Classic Muscle Cars.

The headers that Shane Hudson installed were Lemons Headers new ’68 thru ’72 Chevelle Pro Tour Big Block (BBPT) custom headers. The header is available in a 2” or 2 1/8” tube size with a 3 ½” collector. All of the tubes are inside the frame. Every set of headers are hand made to order, so Lemons can build them for any engine deck height and for any aftermarket cylinder head as long as the engine stays in the stock location.

Lemons Header is use to working with tight spaces though as you might remember they gave us an in depth look in how custom headers are designed, by designing a set of custom headers on our 2000 F-body with the 454 Warhawk powerplant underneath the hood. You can see the story here.

Based out of Paso Robles, California, Lemons Headers are available for more then just Chevelles. They also build a set of headers for a variety of Chevrolet classics including the Camaro, Corvette, Nova, and custom drag racing headers.
