It’s that time of year again; fall is approaching, the air is getting cooler, and the NMCA is ready to settle some championships at the 16th Annual NMCA World Street Finals [2]. The NMCA will bring all of the fastest door cars in the country to Indianapolis, Indiana so they can battle it out at Lucas Oil Raceway [3] September 21-24. The exciting six-race NMCA season comes to a close at the World Street Finals at what is considered one of the most historic drag strips in the United States. Racers have been fighting all year to earn their way into title contention, and that makes every round of racing important at the World Finals. Fans will get to see the best racing of the year as every racer on the property at Indy tries to land in the Aerospace Components winners circle.

As part of the World Street Finals, the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series will conclude their season with the LSX Shootout. This is one of the biggest LSX-based events of the year and racers from all over the country will be vying to win some big money, along with one of the LSX Bowtie engine blocks up for grabs. Racers will also be trying to lock up points championships in the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series, so the action will be non-stop when these LS-powered rockets hit the track.
The stars of Discovery Channel’s hit TV show Street Outlaws will be at the NMCA World Street Finals ready to put on a show for the fans. At the Norwalk event BoostedGT and Kayla Morton not only raced each other, they took on the stars of the NMCA to show they are willing to race anybody. Derek Travis will also be back with his Silver Unit Camaro ready to sign autographs and put some laps in on the legendary Lucas Oil Raceway.

If you love the classic iron that rolled out of Detroit in the golden years of drag racing then you won’t want to miss the Nostalgia Super Stock All-Stars at Indy. The 32 best Nostalgia Super Stock cars will be lining up to see who is the king of the classics at this prestigious event. This special race will be packed with gear banging, wheels-up racing action when these racers line up.

Besides all these great specialty races fans will get to see some great NMCA racing in classes like Xtreme Pro Mod, Radial Wars, Nitrous Pro Street, Street Outlaw, and many others where the series championships are still up for grabs. There is also a huge manufacturer’s midway to check out, massive car show, and swap meet all at Lucas Oil Raceway during the NMCA World Street Finals.
