An exquisite find by all means, we stumbled across a super rare Chevrolet Camaro. Posted on eBay, this limited edition 1990 Camaro IROC-Z 1LE is one of only 28 produced that year respectively.
Separating itself from the rest, this Camaro has the coveted RPO 1LE Performance Package. Essentially, this Camaro is a Z/28 model with a lower suspension setup, a G92 Performance Axle, G80 limited slip differential in the rear and no air conditioning. Other features include an oil cooler, four-wheel power disc brakes, aluminum driveshaft, and a performance dual exhaust system.
However, it’s not these bells and whistles that make it stand out; this particular Camaro has a L98 350 cubic-inch 5.7 small-block V8 engine that produces 245 horsepower and 345 lb./ft. of torque. Coupled with no air conditioning, this showroom stock Camaro has no drawbacks from unnecessary electronics inside the vehicle.
A 4-speed automatic transmission puts power to the pavement for this elusive Camaro. To top it off, this Camaro only has 2,259 original miles.
What is basically a new car, this Camaro’s bright blue exterior and gray and black interior are immaculate and cared for dearly by its owner. The seller is even including all of the extensive documentation for the Camaro, including modifications such as the fog lamp delete they performed to save weight and improve air flow to the engine’s cold air intake system.
Spawned from a private collection, the seller has garaged and maintained this vehicle meticulously. What’s more, even the undercarriage is spotless with the original chassis crayon markings and labels still intact and readable.
Is the $36,800 price tag worth it for this rare Camaro? Feel free to share your thoughts below.
