For nine years now, the Annual Edelbrock Car Show and Open House is upon us and if it’s going to be anything like it was last year, you can expect to see more custom cars, hot rods, street rods, custom trucks, and musclecars than you can take in. With tours starting today, May 1, at Vic’s Garage in Torrance, California, you’ll get to see the history of Edelbrock – from vintage race cars that Vic Edelbrock, Sr., drove to musclecars that the family has raced at vintage racing events and even modern musclecars with some of the best of today’s technology.
Although all of the free tour spots have been filled, Vic’s Garage will be open all day tomorrow for you to take an unguided tour and see how Edelbrock has progressed over the decades. There will be plenty of entertainment for young and old, with games and prizes for the youngsters at the Kids Corner, engine building with the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow, music all day from High Energy Sound Machine, and for those who like to take a load off and enjoy the scenery there’s a beer and wine garden to relax.
If you’re in the Southern California area and need something to do Saturday, May 2, be sure to check out Edelbrock’s 10th Annual Car Show and get your fill on some serious musclecars, cool classics, mean machines, and great entertainment. We’ll be bringing you show coverage in the next couple of weeks so if you can’t make it to the show, we’re going to show you everything that you missed! Check out the latest on the Edelbrock website for parts and information for your ride, and see some of the contests and free promotions they have going on now.
