Concept One has been one of the highest regarded solutions for all pulley systems, crate engines and engine kits for well over a decade. Most of their design work has come from sourcing platforms from the OE manufacturers or vehicles from around the area. Things have changed now with the addition of another test platform to the Concept One Pulley System’s stable; a 1969 El Camino project car.
The crew at Concept one plan on documenting their project car build on the Concept One Facebook fan page for fans to follow along with the build as it goes from lovable rust bucket to show car from the concept rendering.
Kevin and Randy Redd founded Redd Machining and Manufacturing, Inc. in 1996. They knew from years of restoration work how frustrating it was to buy ill-fitting components part by part and having to re-engineer everything to work together. That frustration led to the first complete pulley system, the Concept One Pulley System, introduced in 2001.
Redd Manufacturing, with its Concept One product line, continues to develop and manufacture high quality pulley systems along with superior customer service and technical support.
As for the new project car, the El Camino has been in the Redd family since 1969 when Kevin and Randy’s uncle Ted bought it brand new. This El Camino will be used as a research and development vehicle to test many of their new products as well as look for new ideas.
We look forward to seeing the project get underway. If you don’t follow along with the build on the Concept One Pulley facebook fan page, you can count on us to update you here.
