Mondays definitely aren’t the best days of the week, and that was proven for redditor, xXDrCorndogXx, who apparently doesn’t like to park in, let alone use his own driveway.
It’s not that the driveway isn’t nice; he just likes to park in the yard. With more rain than expected in his area of Southern Tennessee, xXDrCorndogXx’s F-body Camaro sank into the mud overnight, making it extremely hard for him to back it out. He did flag somebody down to help him get his car out, but the truck wasn’t up to the task because of its limited 2WD capabilities. Luckily, the person with the 2WD truck called one of his buddies with a 4WD truck.
The mud was so bad that the 4WD truck couldn’t get any traction either. On the other hand, xXDrCorndogXx’s Camaro had a U-Haul trailer hitch mounted to his car and a chain with him. The gentleman with the 4WD truck also had a chain, which was good, because between the two chains there was enough length for the truck to get to drier ground. Once the truck was on terra firma, it was able to easily pull the Camaro out.
Today, we learned two valuable lessons. The first lesson is to not park on grass/dirt with a Camaro during a torrential downpour. The second lesson we learned is that 4th generation Camaros in stock form make horrible mud boggers. Save that for Fox-body Mustangs…
