Every summer the Friends of Steve McQueen Car Show brings thousands of spectators to the Boys Republic campus in Chino Hills, where 16 year-old Steve McQueen spent time as a student in 1946. McQueen formed a life-long relationship with the school. This carshow is partly to honor the man and partly as charity.
We may not know who will be in the winner’s circle for this year’s Indianapolis 500, but we have a strong idea that the winner will be powered by Chevy. Take a look at the rundown here.

Jim Harbaugh, coach of the Super Bowl-losing San Francisco 49ers, will be driving the 2014 Corvette Stingray Pace Car at this year’s Indianapolis 500 event, becoming one of the first “civilians” to drive this brand new American icon.
What started out in mid-’80s with bolt-on performance parts for 3rd-Gen F-bodies, eventually evolved into building full-tilt tuner cars, like the Firebird Firehawk. Over the years, SLP has evolved into a performance parts supplier for a whole host of late-model American performance vehicles.

Sitting in a garage for the last 25 years, the Camaro is set to make its 2nd debut this year sometime in a rough rat-muscle car state, one that can be driven and enjoyed without too much work gone into it. A 1965 Chevy Corvair is serving as the chariot of choice for two men driving from California to Michigan on a bid to raise money for charity. Two brother-in-laws are driving Route 66 in this Corvair, with the goal to raise over $13,000 for the Brain Injury Association of America.
